The design defines the spaces by placing materiality at the core of the compositional process. Finishes forgo geometric perfection to allow room for the stratification of time: tactile surfaces, living metals, and weathered woods sit alongside objects that, removed from their original function, find a new placement within the space.

Adaptive reuse becomes a rigorous design gesture. Raw stone dialogues with contemporary lines, glass, and metallic structures, establishing a measured balance between the memory of the site and present-day needs. Surface irregularities and natural imperfections are not concealed, but rather integrated into an essential envelope that redefines Tuscan rural identity through clean geometries and defined volumes.

Natural light plays a structural role. The integration of traditional brick screening filters solar radiation, casting a system of shadows that shifts constantly throughout the day. The presence of textiles, natural tones, and a calibrated exposure to raking light soften the architectural rigors, shifting the focus from ostentation to spatial atmosphere.

The result is a sequence of spaces conceived for a slow living experience, where past and present coexist within a single design gesture.
